1 March 1725. Jacob Rubel, 1725-1813, born at Diersdorf in the Palatinate; came to Bethlehem in 1746, worked on the farm at Gnadenhütten on the Mahony and at Schoeneck, and later again in Bethlehem as carpenter. He was also market-clerk. With his wife Catharine, m.n. Holden, he celebrated his golden wedding.
