10/01/1781- Brother Joseph dies English translation: In the afternoon around 1 o’clock the burial of our blessed Negr. Brother Joseph. He was born in Guinea and in his youth was brought to Charlestown South Carolina with 300 other Negr, and there he was sold. His master took him to London and after a time he kame to srstedin and then to this land, where he spent the most part of his life.
